IMPACT SC host players for College Information Night

By Tom Ginocchio, DOC, 03/14/19, 2:00PM PDT

Helping our players both academically and athletically is a big part of our mission at IMPACT SC.  Last week we hosted a College Information Night for our High School aged Impact soccer players to help guide them on what steps they should be taking during each year of high school to help them better prepare for college.   The talk was hosted by our DOC, Tom Ginocchio, who was a Division 1 Asst. College coach for eight years.

Players learned how to identify colleges, what to prioritize during their high school year's,  and how to communicate with college coaches.  It was a great success and the players felt they got a lot from the experience.

For two weekends in March, IMPACT SC will have a number of our 2002-2005 players participating in the Players College Showcase in Las Vegas. There will be 100's of college coaches there to watch players and teams showcase their skills.  Our ultimate goal at Impact SC is to be placing 10-15 players into college soccer programs each year, and helping players and families understand the process, along with attending college showcases, helps us to better achieve our ultimate goals.

IMPACT SC will host another College Night this summer!
