Impact SC is excited to announce that coaches Sal Acevedo and Heather Emswiler have joined Impact SC for the 2019/20 Competitive season.

Coach Sal has a solid background in coaching with over 10 years of club coaching experience.  He has worked with players of any age, from the youngest age groups to premier level high school players.  He currently is the head coach at Freedom High School where his boys won the BVAL title, and he was named BVAL Coach of the Year (for the 2nd time).  Coach Sal also is the Assistant Women’s Coach at Los Medanos College.

Coach Sal also owns and manages a soccer business, Mighty Kicks, that is geared toward introducing soccer related activities to players between the ages of 2 & ½ to 4 years of age.  He is an outstanding addition to our coaching staff and we look forward to the great work he will do with Impact SC, our players and families.

Coach Heather was a high-level player who competed at De Anza JC before finishing her college career at Cal-State Los Angeles.  While at De Anza, Heather was a two time All-American and was awarded a full athletic scholarship to play at Cal-State LA.  After finishing her college career, Heather played in the WPSL for the Monterey Blues.

Heather currently is the head JV Girls Coach at Freedom High School where she has served in that capacity since 2016, and also the head coach at Dallas Ranch Middle School.  Heather will be working with one of our 7v7 or 9v9 playing teams for the upcoming season.    She is a great female role model for our players and a great addition to our coaching staff!

When you see Coach Sal and Coach Heather on the field be sure to welcome him to Impact SC!!
