In a great local derby, the IMPACT SC'05G Green team faced off with Ajax East Bay Ninja in a State Cup placement game to determine which team would be placed with the Top 48 teams in the State, and which would be placed with teams 49-96.  The IMPACT SC girls were playing some great possession soccer, combining through all lines and getting a number of players into the attack, but found themselves down 0-1 midway through the 1st half.  A string of 5 one-touch passes saw the girls break through with a great goal by Emma Arnett-Omandi to make is 1-1 at halftime.  The 2nd half saw the girls come out and raise their game to another level, netting three beautiful goals on their way to a 4-1 victory.     Two weeks later the two sides met again, but this time in league play.  It was another fantastic performance by the IMPACT SC girls who won a very entertaining game 4-3 with Macie Jarquin scoring the 1st goal and then the game winner with two minutes to play.

"The team is playing beautiful soccer right now and their best soccer is yet to come," says coach Tom Ginocchio.

Congrats IMPACT SC '05G Green!!
