IMPACT teams showing well in National Premier League Play!

By Stephanie Dourgarian, 12/05/19, 2:15PM PST

After winning the NPL 2 division in the Spring, the IMPACT '05 Boys Green have had a strong Fall season in NPL 1, the highest level of play in NorCal.  They finished the Fall season in 3rd place (10 team division) with an overall record of 6 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw. This is a strong, dynamic team that also won the US National Cup West Regionals and were finalists in the US National Cup Finals in Colorado this past summer.

Our '02 Girls Green recently competed in the NPL College Showcase which was attended by over 100 college coaches.  The girls played very well beating the San Carlos United Waves 1-0, and drawing 1-1 with Natomas FA Blue.  The weekend before the girls played very well in beating Santa Rosa United ECNL 3-1.   The IMPACT girls have an overall record of 4 wins, 3 losses and 1 tie in NPL Fall.  They will continue with NPL league play in the Spring, after the high school seasons end, and the girls come back together.  They also had a great summer of soccer competing in the Silverlakes College Showcase, and winning the Stanford Summer Classic.

Our '06 Boys Green made a big jump in play this year moving from Gold/Silver to the Premier level of play, joining the NPL at U14.  Although the boys started the season slowly, they continued to work hard in adjusting the the speed of play at the Premier level.  They finished the Fall season on a positive note, losing only 1 of their last 4 games, and will look to continue their growth and development during the Winter as they prepare for NPL Spring play.

Congrats to all our IMPACT National Premier level teams who represent IMPACT SC at the highest level of play!
